My StoryI’d always been into health and fitness, but midlife changed the rules. What used to work stopped working and I didn’t feel like myself.
HRT helped. But the real change came when I learned how my body responded to what, when and how I ate.
Eating in a way that supported my energy and digestion changed everything. Simple, balanced meals – no restriction, no extremes. Plus consistent movement: strength training, walking, Pilates. Habits I could sustain.
Now I have more energy and I’m stronger, both physically and mentally. I lost weight, but that was never the focus. Feeling strong and confident matters more than chasing “skinny.”
I trained as a Nutrition Coach to help others do the same – understand patterns, rebuild trust with food and build sustainable habits.
Credentials and Experience Certified Nutrition Coach (RSPH Level 3 & 4), Level 5 in progress; Certified Nutrition Consultant in Moderation365; Health Mindset Coaching Certification (Level 1) in progress, deepening my work around behaviour change
Before specialising in nutrition, I spent 25 years in corporate roles focused on behaviour change, employee engagement, wellbeing and communication.
That background shapes how I coach: evidence and behavioural insight turned into practical structure. Change isn’t about willpower – it’s about understanding your patterns and building systems that work for you.
What I believe
I don’t do rigid meal plans, calorie counting or “starting again on Monday”. I believe in:
Understanding why and how you eat, not just what you eat
Meals that satisfy, not restrict
Small, consistent habits that beat all‑or‑nothing cycles
Food that supports your energy, strength, and long‑term health
Change doesn’t mean doing more – it means doing what matters most, consistently.
